On International Jazz Day, proclaimed by UNESCO on April 30, the Koktebel Jazz Party musical festival will launch Doctor Jazz Party, an online charity marathon. It will support Russian hospitals and their staff, doctors and other medical personnel who are on the frontline of the fight against the pandemic.

RDIF was among the initial founders of the Alliance Against Coronavirus, which was subsequently joined by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE), Yandex, Mail.ru Group and MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
Zhivoi charity fund for assisting adults was set up in 2010 to render help to severely ill people aged 18 to 60 who need urgent treatment and rehabilitation. Since 2017, the fund has also being working to help Russian hospitals and social facilities. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the fund made a decision to launch a project on purchasing PPE kits and sending them to doctors in Russia’s regions. As of April 22, the fund rendered assistance to 26 hospitals across Russia.
