Rossiya Segodnya Director General Dmitry Kiselev thanks Koktebel Jazz Party organizers on the final day of the festival.

"I'm very grateful to all the organizers, the Red Square Group and especially the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency team that owns the festival's brand and that supported it during the difficult time in 2014 and continued the tradition," the festival founder told the audience.

Earlier, Dmitry Kiselev promised that the 18th Koktebel Jazz Party will definitely be held in August 2020.

Crimean Minister of Resorts and Tourism Vadim Volchenko said that the Koktebel Jazz Party is the biggest jazz event in Russia.

"It is a great honor for me to greet you all here at the most intelligent, sophisticated and vibrant international festival in Russia. It is certainly the biggest jazz festival in Russia and a very important event for Crimea," noted Volchenko.

Koktebel Jazz Party was founded in 2003 as a private initiative by Koktebel jazz pioneer, journalist Dmitry Kiselev. The small Crimean town lent its name to the event which is now on the list of highly acclaimed world jazz festivals.

Since 2014, the Ministry of Culture has provided support to the Koktebel Jazz Party. Radio Jazz is the music partner of the festival.

The information partner of the event is the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.
