Billy's Band will perform "a beach concert" at the Koktebel Jazz Party, the Russian band's leader Billy Novik said at a news conference.
"We are aware of the specifics of a jazz festival, and we would like it to be all about jazz and not customized, as it happens these days with most world jazz festivals. Koktebel Jazz Party can afford to remain a true jazz festival. Another thing that's special in this place is the beach and the sea. So there's every reason to call the programme Billy's Band Beach Concert," Billy Novik said.
The musicians also stressed that they are set to win the Audience Choice Award — a gold statuette that is awarded by Smolensk Diamonds at the end of each day.
