Russian pop rock singer Yulia Chicherina will perform jazz versions of her hit songs Zhara (Heat) and Tu-lu-la, as well as the jazz classic Summertime, Art Director of the Koktebel Jazz Party Sergei Golovnya and Chicherina, who is also the festival's headliner, told a news conference.
"I've grown as a musician and that's why I turned to jazz," the singer said.
According to Sergei Golovnya, Chicherina's songs are noted for their magical atmosphere, original vision and wonderful lyrics.
This will be the first time the singer's tunes will be given jazz treatment.
