Koktebel prepares to welcome jazz lovers

Performances by Russian and international participants in the Koktebel Jazz Party 2019 will be held at five venues.

On August 23, the festival will kick off at 3 pm on the Voloshin Stage and at 7 pm on the Main Stage near Junge Hill.

On August 23-25, the audience will see about two dozen bands from the US, Japan, Singapore, France, Germany and other countries. Russia will be represented by Billy's Band, Snake Steak, Felix Lakhuti and his band UNIVERSALOVE, and the K.I.M.M. quartet featuring outstanding Soviet and Russian jazz guitarist Alexei Kuznetsov. Yaroslava Degtyareva, a star of Russia's The Voice Kids talent show, and Sandra Frakenberg, a jazz singer from Samara, will also perform. Rock singer and musician Yulia Chicherina will be a Russian headliner at the festival.

The KoktebelJazzParty festival is a COVID-free zone. Given the difficult epidemiological situation, the terms of access to the festival may be changed, depending on the epidemiological situation in the region and the recommendations issued by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).
All festival participants, guests and spectators must present at least one of the three documents listed below:

  • A negative PCR test performed not earlier than August 18, 2021
  • A certificate showing the presence of antibodies to the S-protein of COVID-19, issued not earlier than May 25, 2021
  • A COVID-19 vaccination certificate

All guests, members of the audience and media representatives must wear masks and gloves at the festival venues.
