Dmitry Kiselev: We will stage a jazz parade on Koktebel embankment someday

Дмитрий Киселев: Когда-нибудь мы проведём джазовый парад по набережной Коктебеля

"We organize Koktebel Jazz Party with faith in Koktebel and its future, and someday we will stage a jazz parade on its embankment. We want a very beautiful embankment to be built here," Dmitry Kiselev, the festival founder and Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency Director General said addressing the festival visitors.

He said the festival's key message is to showcase brilliant musicians performing in Koktebel and show how discordant this is with the careless attitude towards nature that can be observed here so far.

Kiselev thanked the organizers and all professionals who took part in the festival. "This requires immense work by a large number of experts who seem to do it all easily and effortlessly. We could just as well have held the festival in the Sahara or on the moon if we had a source of air," he said.

He added that the next Koktebel Jazz Party will again take place during the last weekend of August in 2019 and will feature renowned performers and music discoveries for the audience.

"We take efforts to seek out new things for the jazz season in Koktebel, and that is why we continue to grow and change," the festival founder noted.

"We are committed to this project and we love Koktebel. We do this for you and for the whole world as our festival is a symbol of Russia's openness. Come and enjoy it, we look forward to seeing all of you here again," Dmitry Kiselev concluded.
