Young talents to perform at Koktebel Jazz Party 2017

The 15th jazz season in Koktebel will be honored not only by masters of jazz from Russia and abroad but also by talented members of the youth, including soloists from the Domisolka children's musical theater, members of Moscow Department's of Culture Arts School's jazz band, young musicians from Crimea and finalists of popular talent shows Voice. Children, Better Than Anyone, and Blue Bird.

Young jazz musicians will perform on the Voloshin Stage in Koktebel on August 18-20. On August 19, Koktebel Jazz Party will introduce one more musical venue, Artek Arena at Artek International Children's Center in Gurzuf, Crimea. Both the children at Artek and the Koktebel Jazz Party audience will enjoy jazz numbers by television talent show participants, including 9 year old Alina Sansyzbai from Almaty, 10 year old Maria Panyukova from Novomoskovsk, 13 year old Alexandra Solovyova from Moscow and 16 year old Sofia Atsbekha Negga from St. Petersburg. A video linkup will connect two stages divided by almost 150 kilometers.

The KoktebelJazzParty festival is a COVID-free zone. Given the difficult epidemiological situation, the terms of access to the festival may be changed, depending on the epidemiological situation in the region and the recommendations issued by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).
All festival participants, guests and spectators must present at least one of the three documents listed below:

  • A negative PCR test performed not earlier than August 18, 2021
  • A certificate showing the presence of antibodies to the S-protein of COVID-19, issued not earlier than May 25, 2021
  • A COVID-19 vaccination certificate

All guests, members of the audience and media representatives must wear masks and gloves at the festival venues.
