Politics aside, festivals like the Koktebel Jazz Party help remove political barriers and serve as a platform for people's interaction, Russian Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights Boris Titov said.
"I have just arrived but what I have already seen shows an impressive level of organization. There is a very good atmosphere at the festival, the atmosphere of real jazz and internationality. The main thing, of course, is that such events eliminate barriers and make us people of peace," Titov said.
