Huun-Huur-Tu will present ethnic culture at Koktebel Jazz Party

— What are your impressions of the festival? What were the most memorable events?

We only arrived last night but we can say already that the Koktebel Jazz Party is a festival with wonderful bands. We have a certain interest in jazz itself. Yesterdays' performers and those who will play today and later during the festival, they are all top musicians.

— What do you think of the venue?

— The sea is great, so is the weather, everything's very good.

— Which of the musicians at the festival would you like to listen to?

— We are keen on all the performers playing here.

— What sort of emotions do you expect from the audience? How are you planning to forge a bond with jazz fans?

— We always represent our republic's culture, the culture of our people — the Tuvan throat singing, and I think everyone knows and understands what it is already. What we want to express through our songs is positive emotions. You just have to hear it for yourself to see what we mean.
